Personal loan arranged simply
Larger projects with a fixed instalment and quick approval
A personal loan (consumer loan) is a loan with a fixed term, a fixed interest rate and a constant monthly instalment, granted without a land charge for purchases, refinancing or free use. The terms depend on credit standing, term and loan amount. As an independent broker, Nordfinanz compares the offers of many banks and finds the instalment that fits your budget.

Personal loans: what really matters
What is a personal loan?
A personal loan (also called a consumer loan) is a loan with a fixed term and a constant monthly instalment that you can use freely: for a car, new furniture, a larger purchase or paying off expensive old loans. Unlike a mortgage, there is no land charge; the bank mainly checks your income and credit standing.
The comparison decides the price
Between the most expensive and the cheapest offer for the same loan there are often several percentage points. The annual percentage rate (APR) is decisive, because it includes all costs. Treat advertised rates with caution: the headline rate often applies only to a small share of applicants. We request terms in a Schufa-neutral way, so the comparison does not affect your credit rating.
Refinancing is particularly worthwhile: anyone paying off an expensive old loan or a permanently used overdraft often reduces the interest burden considerably. With double-digit interest rates, the overdraft is among the most expensive forms of credit of all.
Stay flexible
You may repay consumer loans early at any time, in full or in part. The legally capped compensation for this is at most 1 percent of the amount repaid early, or at most 0.5 percent if less than a year of the term remains. Many banks even waive it entirely. If you expect a one-off payment, such as a bonus, you should take this into account when choosing a loan.

Personal loans: answered briefly
No, if it is made correctly. We use the so-called terms enquiry, which is neutral for your Schufa rating. Only when you actually accept an offer is the loan recorded.
With complete documents and digital identification, often only two to five bank working days pass between enquiry and release of funds. Refinancing takes a little longer because the bank being paid off is involved.
You can repay the loan early at any time. The early repayment charge is legally limited to at most 1 percent of the amount repaid, or 0.5 percent if less than a year of the term remains. Some banks waive it entirely, which we take into account in the comparison.
Usually payslips from the last few months, an identity document and bank statements are enough. If you are self-employed, income tax assessments or management accounts (BWA) are added. We tell you in advance exactly what your preferred bank wants to see.
